Meeting 7

10.26.16

From the hours of: 1:30-3

During this hour and a half I had a full sit down with my mentor and we went over some of the final paperwork for the Capstone Project, however, he did not sign them off just yet since it was not the last meeting. In this meeting I showed him the pictures I've been taking and received feedback on these photos. I learned that even though the lower the aperture doesn't always mean the best pictures. My mentor had the most to say about the photos from 10/20 when I went to EMIS. He noticed that not all of the photos had multiple people in focus and sometimes no one was in focus at all. He did say that the lighting was pretty good for indoors though, which is a plus! I also received feedback on the sports pictures that I have been taking. My mentor suggested that I use flash, however, I completely disagree with him on that. I think that flash is extremely distracting and causes too many shadows, which are not good for pictures, even though it does help with the overall lighting. I do not want to end up blinding a player and causing the ball to be taken by the other team, or something like that! However, we continued to talk about my progress on the capstone project and he was wondering what I was going to do for my product and I told him my ideas and he gave me suggestions on what to do for them. It was definitely a helpful meeting, and criticism is always your friend. No matter what.
