Meeting 4

10.10.16

From the hours of 6:30-8:30

Today I attended a junior varsity football game for the duration of two hours. Within these two hours I continued to use and expand my knowledge on photography, lighting, and white balance. Within this game, I took action and candid shots of the JV cheerleaders and football players. This is the first time that I have been to a JV football game since my freshman year and it was crazier than I expected. The parking lot was extremely packed and I found it surprising that there was such a large turnout. The game had a large "hype" to it, however, there were a lot more injuries from what it seems than there usually were at the varsity games. During these two hours I worked on taking pictures that had some emotion to them, especially when one team scored or if the home team was to score. However, the night was mostly uneventful and I still worked on lighting, however, the football games are later in the day so the lighting was more yellow but that is something that I could work with. To sum up the two hours that I spent at this game, I continued to work with the lighting in my photos and attempt to capture some sort of emotion in the candid and action shots that I did take.
